Home and Away Star Reveals He Met Girlfriend On Tinder

Tinder is responsible for both hilarious and disastrous stories but there is the odd love story too. Home and Away's Nic Westaway, well known for his role as Kyle Braxton on the popular soap, met his girlfriend model Shenae Gillespie on dating app Tinder. The couple, who have been dating for eight months, met after Nic's friends encouraged him to give Tinder a go. Speaking to The West Australian, the 25-year-old said that fame made the traditional dating game a little difficult and so he tried Tinder for a different approach. Nic and Shenae pictured together "It's a bit hard meeting people out so my mates pushed me to do it," he said. "It's kind of an interesting thing, I had some friends that were on there and I think I just lucked out." Nic also spoke of his plans for the upcoming festive season: "I'll spend Christmas over here in Sydney with my girlfriend and some friends," he said. "This is going to be my first Christmas away from home. "It's going to be a bit different, but it had to happen sometime". So there you go...a Tinder success story!
