Hozier has just announced a massive Dublin gig - and just in time for Christmas.
Following his headline performance at
Electric Picnic 2019 on Friday night, the
singer announced he will be bringing his
Wasteland Baby! tour to the 3Arena on December 10, 2019.
Special guest will be Freya Ridings, who has just released her debut album.
Today FM's Alison Curtis was the first to confirm the news on Saturday morning.
Hozier is currently on a sold out tour of Europe, USA and Canada.
It includes five sold out shows at London Palladium in October and five sold out shows at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom this November.
Hozier’s number one, debut studio album ‘Hozier’ was released in October 2014 and includes the multi-Platinum, Grammy-nominated anthem 'Take Me To Church', which later won ‘Best Song’ at the 2015 Ivor Novello Awards and has had over one billion streams to date.
Last March, Hozier released his highly anticipated sophomore album Wasteland Baby!, and became the fourth Irish artist to score a No. 1 album in the USA as well as Ireland.
Tickets are priced beginning at €39.90 including booking fee. They go on sale this Friday, September 6 at 9am.
The concert promoters have urged anyone thinking of going to take note the the show will be filmed for future broadcast.
