Three of the I’m A Celeb contestants have already ruled out taking part in a classic task

Well, that's no fun.

“It’s certainly not ideal.”

ITV has only just confirmed its lineup for this year’s I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here but it looks like they may already be regretting some of the stars they’ve signed up.

Among this year’s contestants are singer Fleur East, Vamps bassist James McVey and Corrie star Sair Khan – all of whom are vegan.

Their restricted diets mean that they’ll be limited in the trials they can do to earn food for the camp – and certainly won’t be chowing down on any wichety grubs or kangaroo testicles.

“It could prove a bit tricky for bosses if they refuse to do the eating Bushtucker Trials,” a show source told The Daily Star.

“Fleur has already told bosses that she is strictly vegan and does not go near any  animal products. It’s certainly not ideal.”

It’s not the first time I’m A Celeb has played host to a vegan – 2017 contestant Shappi Khorsandi also followed a vegan diet.

The comedian ended up breaking her strict rules while on the show but found that meat didn’t agree with her.

“I had meat, and I was really, really physically sick, five times in one hour,” she said, according to Plant Based News. “It was horrible.”
