Insanely talented Wicklow buskers steal the show on X Factor

The next Picture This?

Anna O'Rourke

*Spoiler alert*

Remember the names Sean and Conor Price.

At 15 and 17, they’re still quiet young but it looks like the two lads from Blessington in Wicklow could be the next Picture This.

Having honed their talents by busking on Dublin’s Grafton Street, the brothers are now involved in this year’s X Factor and have already wowed the judges.

Their audition is set to go out on tonight’s episode of the talent show, during which their performance of Bob Dylan’s All Along The Watchtower catches the eye of Simon in particular.

“It’s probably one of the best auditions we’ve had. I don’t want to change a single thing,” Simon tells the lads.

“If somebody does try to do that, come and talk to me. Every so often, I sit on these auditions and think ‘thank God we find people like you’.”

Nicole is also a big fan, commenting “your voice, Conor, is amazing. And you’re 17, Sean. I feel your voice complements it so well. The X Factor is having the It Factor. Awesome. You’re giving my goosebumps goosebumps.”

Louis Walsh has also bigged up the boys, singling them out for a mention on RTÉ’s chat show Miriam last month.

“They’re really good. They’re buskers. They play on Grafton Street… They’re amazing.”

The boys make it through to the judges’ houses round of the show and are flown out to LA to sing for Simon in his home there.

If you’re still not fully convinced of the lads’ talent, check out this video.

The X Factor airs tonight at 8pm on TV3.
