Horror movies aren't for everyone but around Halloween it's always fun to take yourself out of your comfort zone and watch a scary movie.
Some of the classics like Nightmare on Elm Street or The Conjuring will still give you nightmares no matter how many times you have seen them.
But which one is the nation's favourite? Spin1038 surveyed over 1000 people and have revealed that Scream topped the polls for Ireland's favourite horror film.
Next on the list was The Conjuring, followed by The Exorcist and The Ring. Here is the full list:
