The DWTS pro has a new role.

An Irish DWTS professional dancer is going for a new role in his career and heading for Hollywood.

And when we say Hollywood, we mean Co. Wicklow. Ah, the bright lights of Enniskerry.

Dancing With the Stars pro John Nolan has managed to snap up a job on the latest Disney film Disenchantment, the much anticipated sequel to the 2007 film Enchanted.

Working alongside Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey on the film, John has landed a role as a dancer in the new film.

Taking to Instagram, John broke the news that he was going to be a part of the movie, posting a snap with the other dancers after rehearsals.

Posing with the group, John wrote: “Very excited and grateful to get to work with this insanely talented group of people #disenchanted #disney.”

It was the first of two post, sharing a selfie holding his runners saying: “Very grateful for such a brilliant week of rehearsals.”

John is one of the more popular dancers on the RTE version of Strictly Come Dancing, and has been with the show since the beginning.

In 2017, he danced with RTE reporter Teresa Mannion but unfortunately only made it to seventh place in the competition.

Then in 2018, he worked with comedian Deirdre O’Kane and finished as runners up alongside Anna Geary and Kai Widdrington.

It wasn’t until 2019 when John finally got his goal, he was paired with radio presenter Mairéad Ronan and the pair ended up being crowned that series’ winners.
