Throughout his cinematic adventures, Captain America's Steve Rodgers has had only two female partners: Peggy Carter in The First Avenger and Sharon Carter (Peggy’s niece - ew) in Civil War. Unfortunately for him, Peggy passed away, and his relationship with Sharon is pretty awful. So could there possibly be some scope for the Captain to fall in love with another captain? Twitter users were quick to matchmake Steve with potential matches:do you think there should be more LGBTQ characters in films and TV shows?

Maybe it's finally time for movies to try a bit harder and relate to absolutely everyone, especially including LGBTQ teens and children.Get yourself a man that will stand against 117 countries to save you #GiveCaptainAmericaABoyfriend pic.twitter.com/5vmzvYrEVp
