Actor Richard Kiel, famous for playing James Bond villain Jaws, has died at the age of 74.
Saint Agnes medical centre, located in Fresno, California, confirmed the news but did not give any further details, citing patient confidentiality.

According to TMZ, the actor died a week after breaking his leg but it is not yet known if his death was related to this.
Kiel was a favourite among bond fans having starred in The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) and Moonraker (1979).

He was also cast as Mr Larson in golf comedy Happy Gilmore (1996), and voiced the part of Vlad in animated princess tale Tangled (2010).
He took a step back from acting after he was in a truck accident several years ago. His injuries meant he needed a motorised cane to walk and later he used a motorised wheelchair.
