James Van Der Beek, who first shot to fame because of Dawson's Creek, was on This Morning with Holly and Phillip. The interview did not get off to a good start, and that's putting it lightly.
It all went wrong when Holly and Philip did one of the worst intros for a guest ever. They started to describe all James' co-stars from Dawson's Creek saying that Katie Holmes is now a leading Hollywood actress and explaining how Michelle Williams has received four Oscar nominations.
Then, instead of describing how well James has done since leaving the show they said, "But what happened to the main man himself. He's here now and this is what he looks like?"
The camera cuts to James who does not look happy and he replied, "I have been on television for the last 20 years."
They then chat awkwardly about Dawson's Creek and it keeps getting worse.
You could cut the tension with a knife.
