Fair enough, like.

Jamie Dornan isn’t the biggest fan of some of his fan’s behaviour back home – and with good enough reason, too.

The actor said that he loves heading out in Northern Ireland, but that a lot of the time, he can’t go drinking in Belfast pubs because people get pretty “hands on.”

Dornan told Radio Times magazine that as much as he loves the city, there are a few places he tends to avoid these days.

“You know, Belfast is brilliant now,” he said.

“It’s got amazing places to eat, the bars have always been brilliant, the people have always been brilliant.

“There are a few places I would avoid a little bit now because I’m probably more recognised at home than anywhere else in the world and sometimes it’s, er … people with a few drinks in them can be … well, they’re a bit hands on.”

The Fifty Shades of Grey actor went on to say that people have a tendency to put him in headlocks, when really all he wants to do is chill out and have a pint.

“You’re in a headlock before you know it,” he said.

“I mean it’s the most loving headlock you can imagine, but sometimes you’re not up for that when all you want is a quiet drink with your mates.”

Very fair assessment, Jamie.

The Co. Down actor shot to fame following his role in BBC’s The Fall in which he stars alongside Gillian Anderson.

He and wife Amelia Warner are reportedly expecting their third child together.
