It was the break-up news that broke all our hearts back in 2015 – but now it looks like our favourite ever celebrity couple might be on the road to reconciliation again.
According to People, sources close to Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have confirmed the couple are giving their marriage another shot.
“Jen has called off the divorce,” a source close to Garner told the magazine. “She really wants to work things out with Ben. They are giving things another try.”
The couple, both 44, had been married for ten years when they announced their separation in June 2015, following reports that Affleck had an affair with their children’s nanny. (However, Garner told Vanity Fair last year that the nanny “had nothing to do with our decision to divorce.”)
The pair has remained close since their separation, and have often been spotted together with their three children, Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 5, and even hosted a birthday party for their little boy only a couple of weeks ago, the magazine reports.
According to People, both Affleck and Garner are eager for a reconciliation.
“There is always a chance of reconciliation. They love each other,” the source said. “They also really, really love their kids, and those kids love their parents.”
