JLS star JB Gill was subject to a nighttime raid on his London home.

It has been reported that four people broke into the star’s home, which he shares with his wife and two kids, during the night.

JB confronted the intruders, who broke in at around 3am, and was sprayed in the eyes with an unknown substance. He was later treated for non serious injuries at hospital.

It is thought that the group left the property with valuables worth upwards of one million euro.

A representative for the singer said: “JB and his wife had hoped to keep details of the incident private in order to safeguard their young family. They are all well and safe having increased home security.”

The former X Factor contestant lives just on the outskirts of London with his wife Chloe and their two young children. A source told The Sun the family were “extremely shaken” but escaped injury.

The metropolitan police are currently investigating the incident.

JLS were due to make their comeback this year. The boyband had reunited earlier in the year and had some performance dates booked in for November and December, but these shows have since been cancelled due to Covid.

The band, which is made up of JB, Aston Merrygold, Oritse Williams and Marvin Humes, made a name for themselves on the X Factor in 2008. They split up five years later in 2013.

Since the split, JB has become a husband, a dad and a farmer. The singer also presents the BBC children’s show Down On The Farm.

JLS have rescheduled their reunion gigs for 2021.
