Joe’s potential first victim for You season two has been cast and you’ll definitely recognise them

Jade Hayden

Excellent.

Season two of Netflix’s ridiculously popular psychological series You is currently in the making.

Well, it’s not in production or anything but they’ve started casting it so the ball is certainly rolling and that’s good enough for us.

The first season of the show proved intensely popular with audiences who wondered how Joe Goldberg was getting away with his crimes, which character he would kill next, and why in the name of God they were so attracted to a literal serial killer.

But sure look, we move on. Because a few new people have just been cast for the upcoming season and at least one of them is bound to be another victim.

Jane The Virgin‘s Jenna Ortega will play the character of Ellie – a teenager who wanders around the city in search of cons to pull and men to scam.

Unfortunately for her, Joe is going to be one of those men.

Also cast was Heather‘s James Scully who will play a lad named Forty Quinn – the brother of Joe’s new love interest, aptly named Love.

Unsurprisingly, he and Joe won’t see eye to eye so yeah, the chances of him being brutally murdered are pretty high altogether.

The ‘new Beck’ was cast last week too, meaning that Joe’s new love interest was revealed as The Haunting of Hill House‘s Victoria Pedretti.

The actor will play the role of Love, a woman who Joe meets on his travels and (if the book is anything to go by) falls for her and starts some sort of intense relationship.

The release date for You season two has yet to be revealed, but we are hoping that it’s extremely soon.
