Joey Essex’ misunderstanding of what homophobia means had everyone cringing last night

As part of a series which aims to educate Joey Essex, aptly named Educating Joey Essex, they dedicated an episode to a Christmas theme. What You Sleighing? was shown on ITV2 last night and much to everyone's delight, or mortification, Joey Essex came up with some very interesting theories about Christmas. He's known for often saying the wrong thing when it comes to facts and general knowledge but his latest understanding of the term homophobia has left everyone cringing. According to Metro, while appearing on the show he was talking about what homophobia means to which he said, "Some people don’t like to leave the house. They’ve got home-ophobia?" What he was actually thinking of was agoraphobia. People reacted brilliantly on Twitter to his comments.
