Judi Dench’s birthday cake proves just how down to earth she is

However, even with 11 BAFTAs, two Golden Globes and an Oscar under her belt, Judi Dench is still just as down to earth as ever. Celebrating her 83^rd birthday this year, Judi marked the occasion with the ultimate birthday cake. Not one for multiple tiers or fancy icing, Judi kept it simple with the classic Colin the Caterpillar cake. Sharing a picture of her and her birthday cake on Instagram, Judi’s daughter Finty said:

“Happy birthday my beautiful, wonderful, inspirational Mama.”
