Just When You Thought The Lucy Beale Saga Was Over…

Former EastEnders star Jo Joyner isn't convinced about the identity of the killer

We reckon everyone (even people who don’t watch the show) breathed a sigh of relief when Lucy Beale’s killer was finally revealed.

But now former EastEnders star Jo Joyner has thrown a (kind of) spanner in the works by saying that she’s not convinced that Bobby Beale is the real killer.

She told RadioTimes.com that she thinks the person responsible for Lucy’s death could still be walking around Albert Square.

“I have a theory about all this,” she explained. “In the flashback episode, Lucy got whacked around the head by lots of different people.

“So if she died of an aneurysm, it may well have started earlier in the night. I’m not so sure that Bobby is even the killer!”

Bobby Beale was revealed as Lucy’s killer last month.

She continued: “If you had a really good autopsy, the doctors would be able to say that this aneurysm that caused her death started at a certain point earlier in the evening.

“They could trace it back to the slap around the head by one of those people. Maybe little Abi… perhaps the fall at the car lot…”

Jo returned to the show as Tanya for the special anniversary week during which the killer was exposed.

While we’re not ruling out her theory entirely, we don’t have a great deal of confidence in her ability to identify people…
