When Kate Beckinsale turned 44 this week, her daughter Lily took to Instagram to share a touching message to her mum.
But not only was the post lovely, it was also pretty hilarious.
Lily shared a picture of her and actress Kate when she was just six-years-old.
The now 18-year-old is serving what she describes as “toothless bohemian looks,” while mum Kate is dressed in “a pair of red bottoms and the classiq capri leggings/wispy skirt combo.”

Lily ended the post by saying that her mum is an icon and that she adores her.
She also added that Kate is the “most amazing person I’ve ever been birthed by and ever hope to be.”
