Kate McCann may appear on Britain's Got Talent later this year

We may be seeing Kate McCann on this year's series of Britain's Got Talent.

Earlier today it was reported that Kate McCann had been part of secret auditions with The Missing People's Choir for the upcoming series.

The choir is made up of families from Britain who are searching for lost loved ones.

We've had confirmation from the production company responsible for the show who say that the only people involved in the audition were Peter Boxell, Denise Allan, Sarah Godwin, Peter Lawrence and Emma Cullingford.

According to The Daily Mail, the choir sang the song I Miss You for their audition. It was written by Peter Boxell, whose son Lee went missing in 1988, and reportedly reduced the audience and judges to tears.

Kate did not sing with the choir, or attend the auditions, but as she is an ambassador for the charity she may still be seen in a later part of the show.

This news follows the latest in the McCann’s fight to find Madeline. Only yesterday they lost their Portuguese Supreme Court appeal to silence the ex-police officer who claims they covered up their daughter Madeleine’s death.
