The lad who plays the Night King on Game of Thrones unsurprisingly looks very different IRL

Jade Hayden

Bit of alright, like.

Game of Thrones is back.

It’s been on a few weeks now, and since then there’s been a fair few things that people have been talking about.

One of those things was Jon Snow reuniting with his family. Another was Bran being a total freak. And another was Ayra having sex for the first time.

However, there’s one other thing that has since grabbed the attention of the humble, thirsty Game of Thrones fan – the Night King.

And more specifically, what the Night King looks like out of character.

The actor’s name is Vladimir Furdik and this is him as the terrifying, terrible Night King.

And this is him IRL, or rather, also in the show but not in costume.

Different? Definitely.

Surprising? Absolutely.

Got more of a smoulder going on that would be hard to resist if you were all up in a Slovakian club? You know it.

Furdik, who was born in Slovakia (hence the above necessary club reference), has been a part of GoT since 2015 working as a stunt supervisor.

It was only in season six of the HBO show that he started playing the Night King, after previously starring as a White Walker who was killed by Jon Snow a few years back.

48-year-old Furdik hasn’t done a whole load of interviews – seeing as he doesn’t say a whole lot in the show, in fairness – but he has offered his two cents on how the rest of season eight is going to go.

Speaking to Hungarian news website SorozatWiki, he said: “In the third part of the last season, there is a battle that the creators intend to be the biggest in television history.

“Almost the full episode will be about the battle, it will take about an hour.”

Lots to look forward to, so.
