Lady Gaga only delighted to have ‘fooled everyone’ into thinking she and Bradley Cooper were in love

That’s showbiz, baby.

Lady Gaga has expressed delight that she and Bradley Cooper “fooled everyone” into thinking that they were in love… by acting as if they were in love.

The pair, who starred alongside each other in 2018 film A Star Is Born, spent a fair amount of time together after the film wrapped, doing interviews, hanging out, and performing their wildly popular and intensely intimate song ‘Shallow.’

Couple this with the breakdown of Bradley’s relationship with supermodel Irina Shayk and Gaga’s decision to end her engagement to Christian Carino and you’ve got the decent enough possibility that the pair had, indeed, taken their romance from the screen to real life.

Let us not forget that Oscars performance too. Pure sauce.

Now though, it appears as though Gaga has admitted to faking the entire thing in order to get people talking. Or, y’know, acting, as per her career choice.

“We did a really good job at fooling everyone,” she told Oprah on her tour, Oprah’s 2020 Vision: Your Life in Focus. “We created that.”

“It wouldn’t have worked if you didn’t believe they weren’t in love.”

If you say so, girl.

Irina and Bradley, who have one daughter together, split up earlier this year.

The model unfollowed Gaga on social media just one day after her Oscars performance, meaning that she either disproved greatly of Gaga’s dedication to the ruse, or she was simply sick of seeing it plastered all over her timeline.

Oprah had previously asked Bradley himself about the performance, later telling Gaga that he pretty much refuted that anything else was going on between them.

“We were talking about all the rumours about you guys last year,” she said.

“He said if they had been true, he never would have been able to look you in the eye sitting at that piano.”
