The latest wedding craze involves a flying veil and it’s extremely extra

This is mad!

I am getting a Harry Potter dementor vibe from this…

A trend that started in China is now being picked up around the world and it’s certainly out there. People are taking weddings to the next step by literally shooting a veil through the air on a zip wire to land on the bride’s head. Yes, you just couldn’t make it up.

The veil travels up the aisle at quite a rapid speed before being released and elegantly landing on the bride’s head as she stands surrounded by her friends and family.

Want to see it for yourself? Facebook page Shanghaiist posted a compilation of various brides and their flying accomplices and it already has 11 million views… in one week. Pretty impressive.

Many people took to the comments section of the video to have their say in what is being called the latest “wedding craze”. One person wrote:

“OMG, this is like something out of Cinderella but without the birds, I NEED this!”

While another wasn’t so impressed…

“What will people think of next? Putting the married couple into a cannon and ejecting them onto the dance floor for the first dance?”

And then their was others who saw the funny side…

We have to admit it, it’s certainly unusual!
