Jonathan Pryce will play the part of Prince Philip in the final two seasons of The Crown seasons five and six.
Jonathan Pryce joins Imelda Staunton and Lesley Manville, who’ll play Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Margaret respectively.
Speaking about the new role Pryce said; "I am delighted to be working with Netflix again. The positive experience I had making 'The Two Popes' has given me the confidence to tackle the daunting prospect of portraying Prince Philip. To be doing so with Peter Morgan in the company of Imelda and Lesley will be a joy."The fourth season of The Crown is scheduled to be released in later on this year while the fifth season is scheduled to be released in late 2022.
