Scarlett Moffatt’s profile has blown up in the past 12 months but it looks like she hasn’t let that go to her head in the slightest.
She’s one of the most down-to-earth girls on telly and has proved that yet again with a lovely message for her fans.
The Newcastle lass shared these side-by-side shots with her 1.6 million Instagram followers earlier today.
“To all you young girls (and older ladies) out there don’t believe all you see on social media,” she wrote in the caption.
“This goes to show what make up and a filter can do.
“Love who you are and don’t compare yourself to anybody else. As Dr Seuss once said…. Today you are You, that is truer than true . There is no one alive who is Youer than You.”
Fans heaped praise on Scarlett in the comments, with one calling her a role model.
The Gogglebox star has spoken out in the past about people commenting on how she looks, claiming being trolled has made her stronger.
“Bullies are like sandpaper – the more they wear you down, the more polished you end up becoming,” she said earlier this year.
“It’s taught me to never make anyone feel how those bullies made me feel.”
