Shame.

During last night’s Love Island, plenty of questionable things happened.

Connor left. Sophie pretended to cry. Rebecca and Siannise squashed their beef even though both of them genuinely can’t stand each other and also, nobody cares.

Another that happened was Leanne questioning her relationship with Mike – a bond that had once seemed so strong and unwavering, now being thrown into disarray.

Because even though Leanne is happy, in the words of Wes Nelson, could she be happier?

In actual fact, Leanne doesn’t seem all that happy at all.

In tonight’s episode, she confides in the rest of the girls that she seems to be losing interest in Mike and, more specifically, getting “the ick.”

“I think I’m going to have to just lock it off with Mike,” she tells Sophie and Jess.

“I think I just have to end it. I feel like I’ve given it time… It’s been two weeks, surely I should like him more than this? I feel like I’ve just got the ick.”

Sophie urges Leanne to pull Mike for a chat straight away, rather than let things go on for longer than they already have.

“Maybe I shouldn’t have left it this long but genuinely I was trying, I wanted to like him, I wanted to catch feelings, but it’s just not coming,” she says.

“Now I’ve got the ick, everything he does actually annoys me.”

Truly a crying shame.

Tonight’s episode will also see newcomers Wallace and Demi continue their dates, as they’re served dinner and dessert by some of the remaining islanders.

Nas, the beautiful cherub, is among them.

Get it, mate.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media One.
