Now, this is a story all about how the Fresh Prince of Bel Air could be flipped-turned upside down…

The hit show ended in 1996.

According to TVLine, a revival is in development, with Will Smith himself at the helm as producer.

The site reports that Smith’s production company, Overbrook Entertainment, are currently working on reinventing the fish out of water theme that’s at the heart of the original but with a modern twist.

Will’s production company is developing the project.

Fresh Prince ran for six seasons on NBC, before ending in 1996 and was responsible for launching Will Smith’s lucrative career.

We think some things are better left alone… but it will be interesting to see how this works out.

While we’re waiting… a reminder of Carlton’s epic dance.
