Louis Walsh has broken his silence over Liam Payne’s Twitter outburst

He's taking the high road.

Last week Liam Payne made his feelings about Louis Walsh very clear when he went on an angry rant about the music mogul on Twitter. It all stemmed from something that Louis said when asked about Cheryl during an interview. He told the journalist to f*ck off and stop asking silly questions. Clearly unhappy about how his girlfriend was treated Liam took to Twitter saying, "Congratulations Louis Walsh for setting the worst example on handling media for his band who are about to step into a very hard industry." He followed it with another tweet saying,"Maybe it's about time you realise it's not all about you and shut the f**k up for once, let them speak." Louis has finally broken his silence over the matter and spoke very highly of the couple over the weekend. According to The Sun, he said:

“I think Cheryl and Liam starting a family will make her really happy. I honestly think she deserves to be happy. And I think this will make her happy over and above what her career does.”

He went on to compliment the ex-One Directioner and Cheryl saying:

“Liam’s a nice guy. I have nothing bad to say about them. “I don’t think being a mum will affect her career at all if she doesn’t want it to. It’s never too late. I only wish her the best.”

We're glad he hasn't entered into a public spat with the pair.
