Love is Blind creator is hoping for ‘many’ more seasons of the show – in many countries

Same, tbh.

If you’re at all bored and entirely ready to delve into Netflix this evening, make Love is Blind your first choice.

Or if you’ve already watched Love is Blind, watch it again.

May as well, sure. It’s class.

It’s so class, in fact, that we remain desperately hopeful that more episodes of the genuinely baffling show will come our way soon.

After all, it would be an entirely missed opportunity if they didn’t.

Love is Blind creator Chris Coelen seems to think so too. Even though the series has not yet been commissioned for a second season by Netflix, he’s pretty certain that the appetite is there.

“I think there should be many seasons in many countries and languages,” he told Business Insider. “I think the potential is unlimited.

“I wanted to find a show that could resonate on Netflix globally. “What connects everyone across the globe, regardless of geography or background or social status or ethnicity?

“It felt obvious that what everyone wants is to be loved for who they are on the inside.”

Coelen pitched the series to Netflix unscripted series producer Brandon Reigg, who (correctly) decided to take a chance on the project.

“At the end of the day, you want to feel valued for who you are as a person,” Riegg said.

“And that’s something I think that everybody aspires to. The way [Coelen] framed the idea that we responded to was: is this a way to get as close as possible to that principle?

“And it was an intriguing question of whether you could pull off that sort of experiment.”

As it turns out, you can.

Love is Blind is streaming now on Netflix, incase you for some reason haven’t seen it yet.
