We all know it’s edited.
As much as we love Love Island, we’re very aware that all is not as it seems. Producers have jobs for a reason and there is a lot of things that don’t actually make it to TV.
However, we love the drama all the same, and watch it regardless.
There has been a lot of controversy this season, as a lot of islanders who left the villa are coming out to say that things have been twisted, edited or cut out.
But a spokesperson for Love Island told Digital Spy that the relationships are largely up to the contestants themselves and they just make the final cut to represent what happens over a 24-hour period.
The spokesperson said: “The opinions they have, decisions they make and the relationships formed are completely within the control of the Islanders themselves.
“It is always our intention to produce a show that is a fair and accurate representation of life in the villa.”
It seems like there’s going to be a lot of upset in the villa tonight, as people are changing their minds about who they want to be with.
Bring. It. On.
