Well, now Rosie is saying that show bosses have made sure that she has full access to a psychologist at all times.
“I have access to a psychologist if I need it. Everyone at Love Island has said if I need anything for the rest of my life, they’re just a phone call away,” she told The Daily Star. “I have their numbers and I will never be afraid to phone them… the way Adam behaved hurt me. He said things to me that were really quite nasty. “And there were times when I felt a bit isolated.”Adam’s family have spoken out in the defence of the 22-year-old, telling viewers to “remember that it is a reality game show and everyone only sees one hour of edited footage per night.” Ofcom has been inundated with complaints about Adam’s behaviour on the show, as UK charity Women's Aid say that the contestant's behaviour showed clear warning signs of "gaslighting and emotional abuse." Chief Executive Katie Ghose said:
“On the latest series of Love Island, there are clear warning signs in Adam’s behaviour. "In a relationship, a partner questioning your memory of events, trivialising your thoughts or feelings, and turning things around to blame you can be part of a pattern of gaslighting and emotional abuse."If you or someone you know has been affected by the details of this story, you can contact Women's Aid Ireland here.
