Love Island fans call for Curtis to enter the villa after coffeegate

“Shame Curtis ain’t there to give Ekin-Su a coffee in the morning.”

Love Island viewers are calling for Curtis Pritchard to enter the villa following last night’s episode.

During the show, we saw some of the guys bring the girls they’re coupled up with their morning coffees, but Ekin-Su was less than impressed when Davide snubbed her.

Talking it out with the girls, Ekin-Su said the reason she thought Davide didn’t bring her coffee was because Jacques had coupled up with Paige, and he no longer had “competition” from the other guys.

She later got upset in the beach hut and said: “Every other girl has their morning coffee or tea made by the guy they’re coupled up with and it would be silly for Davide to not bring my coffee.

“That’s what I adore, especially that he makes it and he hasn’t this morning. I don’t know if I’m exaggerating it or whether it is a big deal, right now it feels like a huge deal.”

She shed a few tears as she continued: “‘I just want my oat milk coffee he makes every morning, it makes my day, it’s not about buying the best gift, it’s these little things that I like.”

Over on Twitter, fans felt like this situation could have been avoided if Curtis Pritchard was in the villa. During the 2019 season, Amy told him that because he didn’t cuddle her in the mornings, she thought he didn’t really like her.

To this, Curtis famously said: “I know, and I also want to be the person that gets up and makes everyone a coffee so that everyone’s ready for the morning.”

One viewer shared a photo of what they imagined Curtis looked like watching Davide fail to get Ekin-Su her morning coffee.

“Shame Curtis ain’t there to give Ekin-Su a coffee in the morning,” one fan wrote.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media Two and the Virgin Media Player.
