This is when the Love Island final will be this year

Ellen Fitzpatrick

We’re nearly there.

We’re halfway through this season of Love Island and while the drama is just getting good, we have the date of when it’s all going to end.

According to The Sun, the newest series of the hit ITV dating series is set to end in just a matter of weeks and this set of islanders don’t have long left.

The publication has confirmed that the winter series this year is two weeks longer than the last one we saw in 2020, making this one the regular eight weeks like the summer series.

That means this year’s Love Island will see its final on Monday, March 13th.

A source said: “There was speculation that the current series might only run for six weeks as that was the format for the first Winter Love Island outing in 2020.

“By the same token, there was talk last year that the summer series could be extended as ratings were so impressive thanks to the likes of Ekin-Su and Davide.

“But bosses plan to stick to their usual eight week schedule and crown their winners on March 13th.”

So if the show only has four weeks left – when is Casa Amor?

Typically, it’s around now when the ultimate twist happens and as we reach that point, we finally know when the infamous event will hit our screens.

The Sun has reported that the latest edition of Casa Amor will hit our screens “next week” and viewers won’t “want to miss it.”

A source told the publication: “Casa Amor starts filming this weekend and then viewers will see the explosive fall out next week.”

“It’ll be one of the most dramatic Casa Amor splits ever as apart from two couples, all the relationships are so fragile.

“Fans won’t want to miss it.”

Casa Amor typically sees the boys and the girls being separated, with one group going to a different villa for a few days. Last year, it was girls who headed off.

During this time, a new group of boys and girls head into each villa and the ultimate test of loyalty ensues.
