But she hasn't been told.

“It will be a huge blow for her.”

Megan may have finally found happiness with Wes but there’s some upsetting news waiting for her outside the villa.

The Love Island star’s beloved dog Pumpkin died shortly after she left the UK for Majorca earlier this summer.

She bought the Pomeranian as a puppy two years ago but sadly Pumpkin suffered a haemorrhage due to stomach cancer and passed away.

A friend of Megan’s family said that she hadn’t been told about the dog’s passing.

“Megan will be devastated when she comes out and hears the news about her little Pumpkin,” they told The Sun.

“She brought her from a Pomeranian breeder when she was just eight-weeks-old.

One week after she entered the villa, Megan’s family took Pumpkin to the vet after she fell ill.

They were told the dog had suspected stomach cancer which then haemorrhaged.

“Pumpkin was Megan’s little baby and no doubt it will be a huge blow for her to find out what has happened.”

Meanwhile, a former colleague of Megan’s has told of how far she’s come in her Love Island journey.

Megan surprised everyone by going on the show, she said.

“She was always very reserved and never thought much of herself in that way.

“She is just beautiful, always has been. She’s so loving, friendly. She’s so timid, I was shocked she went on there.”
