Luke T and Siannise came second in the Love Island finale – here’s why that is a VERY good thing

Love Island

Luke Trotman and Siannise Fudge came second in the Love Island finale with Finn Tarpey and Paige Turely named as winners of the 2020 winter series.

Although Paige and Finn had been early favourites, there was a massive surge in support for Luke T and Siannise over the last two weeks.

Luke asking Siannise to be his girlfriend was like something straight from a fairytale complete with a fairy godmother (in the guise of his best pal, Luke M) and a princess crown.

While Luke and Siannise said that they loved each other on their final date last week, Finn sobbing through his speech, which resulted in those three big words, won everyone over.

However, as many have pointed out on Twitter, coming in second place is no bad thing when it comes to the popular reality TV show.

The couples who were Love Island runners-up in previous years are still together including Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt, Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen and last but not least, Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury from the 2019 series.

Of course, we have every faith that Paige and Finn will forge a lasting relationship too but if you’re firmly in the Luke T and Siannise camp, you’ll be pretty happy about this.

Shared by Jasmin with a collage of photos to accompany, the tweet received a major reaction from fans.

And many others have the same opinion too.
