“Cringe almighty”
Made In Chelsea returned to our screens last night, kicking off a brand new season with some brand new faces.
We saw a heap of new ladies join the cast from James Taylor’s love interests Verity and Eliza to Miles Nazaire’s love interest Maeva and Amelia and new boy, Angus – who fans were less than impressed by.
Angus Findlay has previously starred on Celebs Go Dating where he dated Georgia Toffolo – a previous Made In Chelsea star, for a brief stint. Now, he’s joined the new faces for season 17 and fans are not happy.
In his intro scene, Angus has a “brief” encounter with Sophie “Habbs” Habbo which fans thought was “painful” due to his acting skills and how unnatural he came across.
Was painful watching the “natural” scene between Angus and Habbs ?? #MadeinChelsea

#MadeInChelsea is always awkward but tonight’s is the worst ever! So scripted, so disjointed and who are Angus and Amelia? I don’t like them pic.twitter.com/GzVoF4Pudq

While others pointed out the fact he looked far too young for the show.

But all was not lost, last night’s episode also saw a lot of controversy on screen as James’ Taylor (and this is a spolier) got caught out for seeing Eliza and Verity at the same time in an expolisive scene that ended episode one with a bang.
Made In Chelsea returns next Monday to Channel 4 at 9pm.
