Made In Chelsea star Ollie Locke has proudly come out as gay in a recent interview.
The revelations will surprise few viewers of the show who will know that Ollie has identified as bisexual since 2011.
Ollie now reveals that at the end of his latest relationship he realized he wants to pursue his first relationship with a man.
“I lived with a woman last year when I was off camera and we had two dogs together,” he said. “Then when we broke up in December, I thought, ‘That’s it now , I think I’m now gay’.”
Speaking about the new series to The Sun Ollie said “It’s the first time the viewers have seen me as gay instead of bi. I do say the words ‘I am a gay man’.”
The new series is set in Cannes and it’s the first time Ollie really explores life as an openly gay man.
“I want to experience my first gay relationship whether that’s on or off camera. I don’t mind. But I want to have one. I’m ready,” he said.
Ollie previously revealed on Celebrity Big Brother in 2014, that despite identifying as bisexual, he has never been in a relationship with a man.
According to Attitude, Ollie revealed at the time:
“I’ve always had girlfriends. I’ve seen two guys in my life… I’ve generally always had girlfriends,”
“I’ve never slept with a guy. This is the first time I’ve ever said it on television, but it’s done. I’ve never slept with a guy in my life. I think everyone kind of assumes that I have.”
