Making A Murderer – the show that will always be synonymous with Christmas 2016.
It will forever have a special place in our hearts. The Netflix documentary allowed us to put our own detective caps on and we really felt we were an instrumental part of cracking Steven Avery’s case.
(Our opinion DID matter, okay?)
While we pined for Steven Avery (overlooking the fact that he didn’t own underwear), the real breakout star of the show was lawyer Dean Strang.
Honest, trustworthy and discerning, he always said the right thing, and even became an unlikely sex symbol.
Not surprising then that he has landed his own show.
Dean Strang: Road to Justice (LOVE the title) is an eight-part docuseries will see our favourite lawyer look at “landmark legal cases that demonstrate major flaws in the criminal justice system”.
At the moment it looks like Netflix will buy the rights for the show being made by independent production company Covert Media.
Be still our beating hearts.
