A Mamma Mia! sequel has been announced and we’re far too excited

Here we go again!

It’s being reported that Mamma Mia! is to return to our screens with a sequel next year and we’re very excited indeed. Ten years after the first film was released (yes, we feel old too), Universal is said to be releasing a follow-up to the much loved movie-musical titled Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again! The plot of the second instalment is yet to be revealed, but it is being reported that the entire cast is set to reprise their roles and head back to the Greek island of Kalakairi for more song and dance. Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried, Colin Firth and Pierce Brosnan will be joined by some new faces, all set to the music of Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaues – who are busy writing new music for the movie. Expected to hit screens in July 2018, we’re already getting excited for this release.
