Mark the calendars, a sing-along screening of Mamma Mia! is happening in Dublin

Be still our ABBA-loving hearts.

A sing-along cinema is on the way to Dublin – and they’re bringing Mamma Mia! back to the big screen.

The Singing Cinema will be holding their first event in the capital on September 28 and, honestly, we can’t think of a better musical to kickstart it all with.

There is no word yet on just where the screening is being held – it’s currently listed as ‘secret venue’, but we’d imagine ticket holders will find out closer to the time.

There will be four start times – 12pm, 2.30pm, 5pm and 7.30pm – and tickets are priced beginning at €35.

The cost includes five free drink tokens and bottomless popcorn (plus, y’know, your cinema ticket) – so it’s not too bad a price at all.

It comes as it was revealed a third Mamma Mia! film could be on the way – yes, really.

The first Mamma Mia! film was a hit. The second Mamma Mia! film was a hit. And now, Abba’s Bjorn Ulvaeu has said that he isn’t ruling out the possibility for a third film.

During an interview for Magic Radio, the Swedish star said making the series a trilogy isn’t entirely beyond the realm of possibility.

“If someone comes up with an idea for Mamma Mia! 3 you know I’ll have a look at it,” he said. “We’ll have a look at it.”

The singer also teased fans about some upcoming Abba tracks he has been working on, but said that people were going to have to be patient until the songs were finished.

“There will be a new song, a couple of new songs coming,” he said. “But I’ve been saying this for such a long time. I’m not saying when any more.”

“I’m just saying we have them and they will be released eventually.”
