Maura ripped into Tom on last night’s Love Island and viewers were WEAK

We're not sure quite what we did to deserve Maura but we're forever grateful for her presence in the Love Island villa.

The last Irish contestant standing has been carrying this series with her hilarious one-liners and thirst for drama and went above and beyond to keep us entertained last night. Maura had gotten wind that Tom had been saying unfavourable things about her - but when she confronted him, he denied it all.

"I don't want a man that's going to speak about me behind my back," Maura said in the Beach Hut. "And if he's said something, honestly I can't see us going back from this if he has, because I've asked straight out to his face, 'Have you said something?' and he said no. So if he's lied, he can **** off basically."

Not long after that, Jordan told her that Tom had been slagging him off - and she went in on him in front of the entire villa.

"Why weren't you honest with me? Am I an attention seeker? Am I OTT? Do you honestly think that I want to speak to you?" "How dare you say those things about me?"

Tom tried to pull her aside to take quietly and end the spectacle but she was having none of it.

"Do you honestly think that I want to speak to you? No!" she continued. "How many times did I ask you yesterday? You're a f**king coward! You're a bare-faced liar, you're a coward."

It was a glorious dressing down that ended in Maura officially calling things off with him for good. Viewers heaped praise on her for standing her ground.
