Yes, according to sources close to the couple Meghan wants her mother to be with her as she walks to the altar.
“I’ve heard that Meghan wants her mother to walk her down the aisle, which would be a sweet moment,” the close source told Us Weekly.The move would not only break royal tradition, it would break the common wedding tradition that brides tend to stick to. However, in recent years, more and more brides have gone against the trend.
Sources close to the couple are saying that this could be the first of many traditions that Meghan and Harry bid farewell to.
“While they will always be mindful of traditions and the views of their elders, the day is ultimately about them and what they want to do. “The day of the wedding itself will certainly hold a few unconventional surprises Don’t expect a royal wedding by numbers.”Meghan and Harry are due to wed in May of this year.
