Sounds… intense.

Meghan Markle is officially a royal. She is the Duchess of Sussex and so, she must conduct herself like a member of the royal family. And the Queen is ensuring that it must happen sooner rather than later.

According to The Times, the Queen has hired one of her senior aides, 49-year-old Samantha Cohen, to give Meghan a few lessons in order to adjust to royal life.

An insider told the publication that the newly married former actress already has plans to tour the country and meet with charities to put her name behind organisations she supports.

“It will be six months of listening. She is seeking out advice from a range of people. She is going to proceed with humility. It is not going to be quiet, though.

“It is going to be a very busy office. She has worked every day of her life. She is used to a demanding schedule,” the insider said.

The source also said that Samantha gave Meghan a quick run-through of the rules for Prince Charles’ 70th garden party. She will also serve as a temporary replacement for Prince Harry’s private secretary until next Spring, and will move over to Kensington Palace to do so.
