The Markle family drama rumbles on...

Meghan Markle's sister appears to have accused her of neglecting their father financially. "If you can spend $75,000 on a dress, you can spend $75,000 on your dad,"  Samantha Grant told US magazine InTouch, suggesting that their dad Thomas hasn't seen much of Meghan's money. The '$75,000' refers to the expensive Ralph & Russo gown Meghan wore in her engagement photos with Prince Harry. Samantha insisted that it was their dad who gave Meghan her start in show business. "Meghan's education, her connections in the entertainment industry that got her her first job on Suits and even before then... he gave her so much of who she is." Samantha also claimed that Doria Ragland, Meghan's mum, put distance between the royal bride-to-be and her dad's side of the family when she and Harry started dating. "In my mind Doria wanted to run around and seal off all the hatches. "She became very possessive and controlling." Despite all this (and the fact that Meghan and her sister haven't spoken in a number of years), Samantha insists their dad will walk Meghan down the aisle in May "My dad had a bad leg for a while. "But he’s doing better now. He’s working with a doctor to improve so it minimizes his pain and he’ll be able to walk Meg down the aisle."
