Next year marks the 25th anniversary of the Spice Girls and we're officially 108 years old.

Can you believe that 2021 marks 25 years of the Spice Girls? We're literally shook at how long it's been since "2 became 1" but also, with big anniversaries come big reunions! Aside from celebrating ourselves by singing in the privacy of our own homes (much to the dismay of our neighbours) there's good news for fans today as Sporty Spice herself has hinted that a reunion tour to mark the occasion could be on the cards. Speaking on ITV's Lorraine, Mel C revealed that there's a chance we could be seeing the fab five together again in 2021... yes, all of them. [caption id="attachment_511609" align="alignnone" width="644"] Credit ITV[/caption] Last year, the group (minus Posh) did a nationwide UK and Ireland tour which went down an absolute treat with fans and when pushed by Lorraine about whether a reunion to mark the quarter of a century could be on the cards, the 46-year-old admitted that it would be rude not to:

"We had the most incredible year last year, playing stadiums all across the UK and Ireland. And we have got to do it again, we talk about it all the time."

Of course, with the pandemic, live events have been massively affected but Mel C said she is doing "everything in her power to make it happen". Not only is a reunion tour on the cards but Mel C also hinted at a movie that would tell the story of the Spice Girls:

"I think the music and the story of the Spice Girls, the beginnings of it, everything that happened in between, I think it's perfect subject matter for one of those movies."

We all know that the Spice Girls music was practically a religion in the 90s... it brought hope, joy, big shoes and Union Jack dresses to the world!
