Moulin Rouge is coming back to cinemas across Ireland for one week only

Better grab the tissues.

Moulin Rouge is coming back to cinemas across Ireland for one week only – and it will be absolutely spectacular, spectacular.

Omniplex Cinemas are bringing the Baz Luhrmann musical back to the big screen beginning January 11 as part of their #BringItBack series.

Moulin Rouge stars Ewan McGregor as Christian, a young poet who moves to Paris to join the Bohemian revolution taking over the underground scene of the city.

He soon falls in love with the star courtesan of the Moulin Rouge, Satine, played by Nicole Kidman.

A love triangle ensues once the unlovable Duke gets involved and so the dance begins.

Fly away with nostalgia for one week only at Omniplex Cinemas from Friday, January 11, 2019.

The tickets are priced at €8 and we reckon they’re going to sell out super fast – so advanced booking is definitely recommended.

For more information, visit www.omniplex.ie.

The #BringItBack event is a collection of classic movies turning to the silver screen by Omniplex Cinemas. Each movie returns for just one week.

Previous movies that have been included in the #BringItBack event include Die Hard, Home Alone, Avatar, The Shining, Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring; The Lion King & The Princess Bride.
