What with the rumours last week and the success she has enjoyed over the course of the last year, it comes as no surprise that chart-topping Adele will sing the theme song for the upcoming James Bond film, Skyfall.
The Grammy-winner hinted that she was doing the song during an interview with Jonathan Ross earlier this year.
Fuel was then added to the fire when the singer was spotted hanging around Abbey Road Studios, where the album is being recorded, recently.

Daniel Craig stars as James Bond in the new film out later this year.
But only now has it been confirmed that Adele will, in fact, be singing the theme which is also called ‘Skyfall.’ Like we didn’t see that one coming!
The single will be her first release since her incredibly successful album ‘21’ which is apparently being re-released to include the track.
Tell us, do you think Adele is worthy of joining the likes of Sir Paul McCartney and Dame Shirley Bassey in the exclusive James Bond theme-singing group?

Legend Paul McCartney has previously done the James Bond theme tune.
