That's right we're already talking about Christmas, *sigh*, BUT, it's for a good reason.
Big The Musical has been announced as the Christmas show at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre and we could not be happier.
It was one of the best movies growing up with Tom Hanks playing the lead role in the iconic movie about a young boy who wants to be big.
This December, Bord Gáis Energy Theatre will host the European premiere of the musical which will star Jay McGuinness from The Wanted.
The producer of the show, Michael Rose, said: “I am so excited to bring this show to Dublin for the first time, it’s a universally appealing story peppered with beautiful songs, stunning sets, tremendous choreography and an all-star cast - it couldn’t get much BIGGER than this for Christmas.”
It will open on December 7th, 2016 and will have a strictly limited season ending on January 7th, 2017. Irish audiences will be the first to have the opportunity to witness this spectacular musical before it opens in London’s West End next year.
Tickets are priced from €15.00 - €65.00 and will go on sale this Friday 29th April at 9.00am.
