The fund was started by the band back in 2004 after the Indian Ocean tsunami, and the charity has raised over $9 million for disaster relief and climate change education ever since.
The band's second vocalist, Mike Shinoda, announced the news with a tweet today that read:
“We will be playing, laughing, and crying together at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 27, in honour of Chester. "Love you guys.”
— Mike Shinoda (@mikeshinoda) September 18, 2017This all comes after the band released a music video for One More Light in honour on Bennington today. The video features clips from behind-the-scenes of the band’s tour. Tickets for the event will go on sale this coming Friday.
