Christopher Maloney might not be smiling but we certainly are as another X Factor act has landed a record deal.
That’s right, the loveable Jahmene Douglas is the latest of this year’s contestants to be picked up by record label Sony.
Jahmene showed off his incredible vocal talent on this year's series.
He will join winner James Arthur, Ella Henderson and Union J in the category of signed acts but this also means that Christopher is the only finalist not to get a deal. Not to be cruel but it doesn’t exactly surprise us!
Anyway, back to the man of the moment, Jahmene confirmed on Daybreak this morning that he had signed on the dotted line for the major music company.
Union J are among the many acts that have signed a record deal.
We knew it was only a matter of time before the talented singer, who has also recorded a version of Silent Night for an online Asda advertisement, got his big break and we can't think of anyone more deserving!
