Getting into the Groove – New Music Festival Announced for Ireland this Summer

Music to our ears – Ireland is set to get another brand new festival this summer. 

It has been announced this morning that a new music festival called Groove will take place on July 6th & 7th 2013. The festival will be set in the stunning Killruddery Estate between Bray and Greystones, right on the doorstep of Dublin city.

Organisers promise a “hassle free festival with an impressive line-up across soul, funk, roots, R&B and rock & roll”. 

Over the weekend 30+ acts are set to perform, with many to be announced in the coming weeks, but organisers have released details of two headliners plus support today.

On Saturday, July 6^th, James Morrison will take to the stage, supported by Soul II Soul Sound System, while home girl Imelda May will headline Sunday’s line-up, supported by Damien Dempsey.

In a move that’s sure to be popular with parents, every adult attending can bring one child under 12 to the festival for free. 

Tickets cost €59 for a day tickets and €99 for a weekend pass.
