Hozier’s self-titled debut album has returned to number one in the Irish charts, six months after its release.
The album has already been certified six times platinum and has stayed in the Top 5 of the Irish Album Chart since release last September.
Bray native Andrew Hozier-Byrne celebrated his 25th birthday on St Patrick’s Day, a week that also saw his debut single Take Me To Church named the most streamed Irish song of all time.
Internationally, Hozier continues to dominate with the debut album currently at number twelve in the US Album Charts. It is now also certified Gold or more in the UK, Canada, Holland, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Sweden and Switzerland.
Hozier continues his sold out US tour before embarking on his first ever tour of Australia from next week. He returns to Ireland to play with Foo Fighters in Slane Castle on May 30th and will also headline Longitude Festival this July in Marlay Park, Dublin along with Chemical Brothers and Alt-J.
